40-60 ml white rum
3-4 strawberries
20 ml squeezed lime or lemon
1/2 tsp sugar
1 cup crushed ice

Mix all ingredients in a blender. Run the blender for 10-20 seconds.
Serve in a chilled wine glass or cocktail glass.
Decorate with a strawberry.

Many like their Daiquiri with a sugar rim on the glass. Make this by rubbing the glass rim with a piece of lime or lemon. Then sprinkle white sugar over the rim before preparing the daiquiri.
